Rounded End Oak Bench Upholstered Luxury Velvet
Handmade solid Oak bench with rounded ends, underside and round legs which give a simple yet organic look. The rounded ends and soft edges and upholstered cushion top makes this piece very tactile, functional and comfortable piece.
Each piece is handmade my me to order, it is hand planed, jointed and smoothed with a cabinet scraper to give a fine finish. The legs are hand turned and fixed using contrasting timber wedges. The benches are made from a 25mm solid Oak top thick and 32mm Oak legs which make it an extremely strong and durable piece of furniture. It can also be made from Beech, Ash, Sapele, Walnut, Cherry and many more timbers.
The cushion top is made of a composite foam cushion to give a firm but comfortable seat that requires minimal maintenance. This velvet must be felt to appreciate its wonderfully soft texture and depth of colour. The velvet is soft, yet hard-wearing with a Rub Test of over 100,000 means it exceeds UK requirements for both domestic and contract upholstery.
Plush Velvet is a super EasyClean quality which helps to repel liquids - there really is no reason not to love this fabric!
