Solid Oak Milking Stool
Handmade solid European Oak milking stool finished in a satin danish oil or bees wax. The stools are inspired by the clean simple lines of Scandinavian design. This piece is handmade to order and I make them by hand using traditional hand tools and methods. They are planed and cabinet scraped to create a smooth surface with hand cut tenons with contrasting wedges are used to secure the legs into position.
The stools can be used as a footstool, stool, side table, plant stand, lamp stand, display and for many uses around the home. The natural grain and natural finish give warmth to any room in your home. They are easily maintained with a natural bees wax polish once a year or they can be refinished with a varnish, stains or painted.
The piece are available in many sizes dimensions however the width the pieces are W:20/22cm and have a thickness of 22/25mm depending on the boards
