This handmade solid Oak bench has been design with rounded ends, underside and round legs which give a simple yet organic look, the share and soft edges makes it a very tackle piece. This piece has been inspired by Scandinavian designs and wanted to keep it simple and functional. It has been hands planed and smoothed to a fine finish. The legs have been hand wedged to provide a secure fixing and traditional look. It would complement any room in a home and is a very functional piece of furniture.
The benches are 30cm wide and the top is made from 25mm thick and 32mm Oak legs which make it an extremely strong and durable piece of furniture. It can also be made from Beech, Ash, Sapele, Walnut, Cherry and many more timbers.
The piece pictured has also been finished in a Food Safe, VOC Free danish oil and the legs have been painted two shades of green.
