Handmade solid European Oak bench has been design with rounded ends, underside and straight turned legs and support braces. The rounded ends and soft edges and upholstered cushion top makes this piece very tackle, functional and comfortable.
This piece has been inspired by Scandinavian designs and I wanted to keep it simple and functional. Each piece is handmade to order, it is hand planed and smoothed with a cabinet scraper to give a fine finish. The legs are turned and fixed with contrasting wedges.
Each piece is handmade my me to order, it is hand planed, jointed and smoothed with a cabinet scraper to give a fine finish. The legs are hand turned and fixed using contrasting timber wedges. The benches are made from a 25mm solid Oak top thick and 32mm Oak legs which make it an extremely strong and durable piece of furniture. It can also be made from Beech, Ash, Sapele, Walnut, Cherry and many more timbers.
The cushion top is made of a composite foam cushion to give a firm but comfortable seat that requires minimal maintenance.
Fabric - The velvet it a 100% Repreve recycled polyester yarns which is produced from waste plastics. It is a high performance, durable velvet with a soft touch and texture, while a subtle sheen gives depth and richness to the colours.It also has Evergreen easy clean and anti viral finish which is PFC free. The fire retardants are halogen free and this fabric is fully REACH compliant and manufactured to Oeko Tex Standard 100
