Square Footstool in a Luxury Boucle
Handmade "Bloc" footstool is built on a solid 32mm timber base, that is available in Oak, Ash, Beech and Sapele (custom timber are viable on request). The padded top is a timber frame with a composite foam top, luxury firm foam all around and a Dacron warp with give a soft look but firm seat.
As with all our pieces it is made to order and has produced using traditional hand tools and techniques. The base is a solid timber base that is mitred together to give a strong and stable base. The timber is finished in a clear natural bees wax to protect and bring out the timbers natural character.
The piece in the pictures is a 70cmx70cm block with a solid Beech Base and has been upholstered in cream boucle fabric. The boucle Fabric is 80% Polyester, 10% Acrylic, 10% Cotton, Martindale Rub Test: 60,000+.
This piece is also available as a round stool with the same dimensions, please let me know if you prefer a round stool.
Note: due to the construction its this piece is very heavy piece and the larger items are fitted with sliders to help move it on carpets and wooden floors.
