This piece is made on two sections a solid 20mm oak box and a solid 25mm x 25mm Sapele frame. The standard width is 25cm but can be made to any width. It has been designed and build to be strong so can support heavy items, it has been made using traditional hand tools and joints. The box top is mitred with biscuit joints and a rebated base. The frame is made using dado joints that are doweled for extra strength and lap joints.
The piece pictured is a custom order made for Oak and reclaimed bullet wood in finished in danish oil. It can be such as Ash, Walnut, Beech, Cherry and many more. It can also be finished in bees wax, lime wax, painted or other finish on request.
