Handmade solid Ash table finished in bees wax to give a natural pale white/cream finish. The stools are inspired by traditional handmade cottage style furniture. This piece is made with a solid Ask top at least 25mm thick with straight turned legs and turned cross members that are fixed into position with contrasting coloured wedged tenon joints (timber used is would be Sapele or Walnut).. The construction of the table makes it extremely strong and durable so it can be used as a table, footstool, stool, bench, side table, plant stand, lamp stand, display and for many other uses around the home. The natural grain and natural finish give warmth to any room in your home. They are easily maintained with a natural bees wax polish once a year or they can be refinished with a varnish, stains or painted on request .
This piece is a medium depth of W:30cm but is also available in a narrow 20cm or wide 40cm depths.
Ash is a native hardwood and is white/light cream in colour with the occasional Olive greens and Brown streaks. It has a medium/wide grain and has an elastic quality, tough and is very strong despite being light weight.
