Herringbone Round Table

This piece has been inspired by some restoration work I carried out on a boat deck. The round table is solid oak with turned legs that are jointed with hidden wedge tenons. The top is in a contrasting timber ripped down into thin strips with chamfered edges. They are individually laid to create a unique herringbone pattern. Please note this piece is made by hand and to order so the pattern is unique to each individual piece no two will be the same unless ordered at the same time. also the layout and complexity of the pattern will change depending on the diameter of the piece.
