Handmade solid Oak side table with shelf, this piece has been a development from the plant stand I currently make, to expand its usefulness and functionality around the home. The table like my other pieces they are made from 25mm solid European oak and 25mm/32mm solid Oak legs (deepening on the diameter) and are available in various heights and diameters to suit your needs.
Each piece is made to order (I hold no stock to reduce waste) they are also made by hand by myself using traditional hand tools and techniques. The tables are planed and squared, jointed and smoothed with a cabinet scraper to give a fine finish. The legs are hand turned then fixed using contrasting timber wedges (Sapele/Walnut) and the shelf is doweled into position.
I normally finish in danish oil as standard but I also have many other finishes available such as beeswax, walnut stain, teak stain, medium oak stain, dark oak, lime wax, paints and many more. Please put in the notes your preferred finish.
As with all my pieces I can make the to any size, finish and timber, if you requirement a custom piece please contact me with your requirements and I will get back to you asap.
