This unique coffee table has been designed as a series of pieces to combine multiple functions and materials. With this coffee table design I was wanted combine a footstool and full sized coffee table, that could also be used for storage.
The main body of the table is made from 18mm OSB mitred to give clean sharp edges. The interior is traditionally deep buttoned using handmade oak button with a medium density foam and a wool fabric gives a soft warm feel (I can upholster the table in any fabric, please contact me with your requirements). The legs are made from reclaimed Oak joined together using traditional methods.
This table design provides a large usable surface area, the interior is large enough for two/three people to place their feet in comfort without affecting the surface. The interior deep enough that it's can also be used for storage of books and magazines.
This particular piece had a section routed into the surface allowing a iPad to be lay flush with the surface. As with all our piece this can be customised to suit your individual requirements.
